1. These local school bus drivers drive all over Monsey like they own the road. They hold phones in their hands, they don’t stop at stop signs, and ride around with their yellow lights blinking constantly. They think that because they are driving a huge big bus, they own the road. I have been dreading such an accident for years now, and its amazing that it doesn’t happen daily.

2. I don’t believe this is at the intersection of 306 and maple. Perhaps its right before or right after the intersection.

3. This is not by the intersection. In monsey there is zero bike safety the kids on a bike do not watch one bit, but they fly down the sidewalk like crazy’s. Crisis in middle of the street etc. based on this picture the bus driver was not at fault

4. The exit the bus is coming out of is the old YSV boys school on the corner of west maple and Rt 306.
   That area is terribly dangerous with thousands of cars flying by daily and the hundreds if not thousands of infants,toddlers, and kids that live along the rt 306 area and play right next to the road unsupervised (or perhaps supervised by their 3-4 year old older sibling).

   I have seen time and time again 1,2 and 3 year old’s walking up and down the street in this area and it truly is a daily Nes we are not reading about more of these stories.

   Only a couple of months ago I saw a 1 year old walking by herself with no one around her. I stopped all traffic to get out of my car and guide her back 4 houses to where some girls where some 5 year old girls were playing. I called out to them asking if they knew who’s child this was and they said yes and took her.
