On NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’, so-called comedian Pete Davidson mocked Republican congressional candidate and former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw about the eye he lost to an IED blast while serving in Afghanistan.
The vile attack came during the SNL’s “Weekend Update” segment, where Davidson was mocking multiple Republican politicians for their looks. The comedian stated he’d “realized there are some pretty gross people running for office this year”. When a picture of Crenshaw was put on the screen, co-star Michael Che blurted out: “Oh, come on, man!”
“Hold on,” Davidson told him. “You may be surprised to hear he’s a congressional candidate from Texas and not [explicit],” he ridiculed Crenshaw to the uproarious laughter of the #liberal crowd. “I’m sorry, I know he lost his eye in war or whatever”, he added.
“Or whatever” indicates NBC, SNL & Davidson clearly have no honor or decency, towards those who put their lives on the line to defend the country.
Good rule in life: I try hard not to offend; I try harder not to be offended. That being said, I hope @nbcsnl recognizes that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines for bad jokes.

On Dan’s third deployment in 2012, his life changed forever. After six months of combat operations, Dan was hit by an IED blast during a mission in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was evacuated and awoke from his medically induced coma learning that his right eye had been destroyed in the blast and his left eye was still present, but badly damaged. Dan was completely blind and the doctors did not believe he would ever see again. After several difficult surgeries, he eventually regained sight in his left eye and “refused to quit and went on to deploy twice more, first back to the Middle East in 2014 and then South Korea in 2016.”

It is all because of Trump.
This so-called comedian Pete Davidson looks like he is either high on drugs, or something wrong with him mentally, or both.
I guess they are only following their 2020 Presidential candidate, the cheapskate Joe Biden. He infamously asked a crippled Chuck Graham to stand up “let ’em see you”. I wonder what the Vietnam war hero democrat Richard Blumenthal has to say about this?

Saturday Night Live regularly mocks God, religion and the standards of morality of the Torah. Why does only a Bein Adam LeChaveiro qualify as “despicable” to Yeshiva World News?

Maybe the name suits you. The first point is that the guy (and his liberal-Democrat followers) are enormous hypocrites on the matter. What Trump is or is not is irrelevant as the topic is their own hypocrisy. Simple mocking of a physical characteristics – “BODY SHAMING” (and for no other reason than to body shame) which is a really BIG non-no in the liberal circle even when the body shaming has nothing to do with physical defects as such.
But in any case the comparisons are not correct.
John McCain is the one who started against Trump (date: 30 Jun 2015), and continued (article 10 Jul) when Trump did not respond , and then Trump responded and simply treated John McCain as an adult who is able to take it as good as he dishes it out. In his first response (11 Jul) Trump simply called McCain weak on immigration and predicted that it will lose McCain election. McCain responded. Trump upped his rhetoric calling McCain dummy. and so forth – back and forth. Welcome to an adult world, Nothing I remember about Trump poking fun at any McCain physical feature obtained while defending his country.Yes, “Trump was Trump”, but this was a tit-for-tat that started by McCain. And Trump later endorsed McCain.
That thing with the reporter (Serge Kovaleski) was a “frame up”. Trump makes wild gestures while talking about certain things – he made wild gestures while talking about Ted Cruz and others (as well as himself) . He did not treat Serge Kovaleski ant different. The media simply freeze-framed Trump and freeze-framed Kovaleski and showed them side-by-side as if that is what Trump was doing. A whole picture of how Trump gestures in ALL his speaches, as well as how Kovaleski actually looks and behaves while being interviewed as a whole makes this clear.
But as stated, in both cases the other guy “started it” and Trump responded (and the other gave back again against Trump). No give-and-take here with this alleged comedian.
