Several hundred people from around France gathered for a memorial event in the Great Synagogue of Paris (Grande Synagogue de la Victoire) for the victims of the synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh last week.

The crowd was addressed by Chief Rabbi of Paris Michel Gugenheim, Chief Rabbi of France Haim Korsia, synagogue President Jacques Canet, and Joel Mergui, who serves as president of the Consistoire organization that provides religious services to French Jews.

Cantor Aron Hayoun and the Shul’s choir performed as well.
