Thousands of Shluchim posed for a group photo in front of Chabad-Lubavitch world headquarters in the Brooklyn borough of New York, Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018. They are among more than 5,000 Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinic emissaries and communal leaders from 100 countries hailing from as far away as Laos and Angola, Ghana and Uzbekistan that are gathering for the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries.
One highlight each year is the traditional group photo of thousands of Shluchim at the front of the building on 770 Eastern Parkway – Chabad’s central headquarters.
This year, for the 14th year, tens of thousands of viewers from around the world will be able to view the International Kinus HaShluchim banquet live – here on YWN – on a broadcast made possible by the organizers of the Kinus. The highlight is always the traditional roll call of countries and regions which is followed by spirited dancing.
As we have in the past years, YWN will be bringing you thousands of photos, as well as extensive video and photo coverage from the massive event.
The Shluchim will take part in seminars and workshops around combating anti-Semitism, synagogue security, and counseling and guiding congregations in the aftermath of the attacks. They’ll also tackle current topics such as the opioid epidemic, mental health, relationships and inclusion for people with special needs.
Rabbis who serve students on college campuses will take part in a separate track within the conference, discussing issues specifically relevant to them.

CORRECTION: the annual conference of mesiras nefesh shluchim from all over the world, and showing everyone the fruits of the rebbe’s encouragement to spread yiddishkeit, and encouraging everyone to join the outreach movement.
Stamname9- good observation lol
Golden and kneidlach-jealousy? I think not. Why would anyone be jealous of a few shluchim who help out non frum yidden in exchange for donations when the litvish side and all others have organizations with a list that doesn’t end? Eg: Nechamos Yisrael, beis Ezra, tomchei Shabbos, Hasc, Ohel, bikur cholim, aish, fertility clinics, dor yesharim, financial assistance, yeshiva assistance etc should I go on? It’s true that these organizations are overlooked since they don’t go over to the “frum” news outlets every time they help an old lady cross the street. If they would have, there would be no competition. And by the way these organizations help yidden whether they have the same hashkafa or not. Including chabad
