CNN isn’t commenting about Don Lemon’s statement that white men represent the biggest terrorist threat in the country.
Lemon’s statement, on his show Monday, attracted criticism in conservative circles. He was talking about the negative attention given to a caravan of potential refugees in Central America.
Meanwhile, white men are the suspects in recent shootings of two blacks in Kentucky and at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.
Lemon said that, “we have to stop demonizing people and realize that the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”
A CNN spokeswoman said Wednesday neither Lemon nor the network would speak more about it.

The alleged synagogue shooter self-identifies as Native American and Filipino aside from Irish, so is that really a fair description of “White”?
I’m sure CNN will do the proper thing and not only censure him and cancel his show, but will fire him as well, don’t you think? You don’t? Funny, neither do I.
Where’s all the uproar from “the right”? Where’s all the backlash? Why aren’t the conservatives calling for him to fired?
Is it possible they cherish free speech more than furthering their political agenda?
shuali, I’d like to answer your question. In the past few days, I’ve heard on the radio from Conservatives Michael Savage and Sean Hannity about this despicable statement from Don Lemon coming from a despicable CNN network. On Fox News Channel, I listened to Conservatives Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham strongly condone it. Frum, politically Conservative Columnist Ben Shapiro deeply condoned it in an article. President Trump condoned it on a Tweet.
