CNN’s Victor Blackwell asked Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer if Trump carried any responsibility for anti-Semitic crimes in the United States, Dermer stopped him cold.
“I’m not aware of a single non-Israeli leader that has made such a strong statement in condemning anti-Semitism,” Dermer said of the president, who told an Illinois rally crowd that America will seek the destruction of those who seek to destroy Jews. “I have never heard a non-Israeli leader say that.”

CNN wasn’t the only one.
MSNBC host Ayman Mohyeldin tried to get Dermer to criticize President Donald Trump for the mass murder at a Pittsburgh synagogue the day before. Not only did Dermer not give in to the host — but also Mohyeldin’s repeated, near-combative baiting questions resulted in MSNBC’s audience getting a stark history lesson about the left’s anti-Semitism.
“I’ve been following anti-Semitism all my adult life. I have never heard a stronger statement than the statement the president of the United States made.”

There is no excuse for antisemitism.
Antisemites do not ask if you are a Republican or Democrat. They do not ask if you are Orthodox, Conservative, or Reform.
