YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Chaim Baruch Wolpin ZATZAL, the Rosh Yeshiva of Karlin Stolin in Boro Park. He was 88.
Rav Wolpin served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Stoliner Yeshiva in Boro Park for more than 40 years.
He was ill for the past few months, and was Niftar on Thursday afternoon at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan
The Levaya will be held on Friday morning at 11:00AM by the Stoliner Yeshiva located at 1818 54th Street. The Niftar will be flown on Motzei Shabbos to Eretz Yisroel for a Levaya and Kevurah.

I heard from a family member that the levaya will be at 11:00 at the yeshiva. Can someone please verify if it’s 10 or 11?

He was always quick with a good quip. I was standing next to him when he passed a sign announcing his son in law, Rav Zev Smith Shlit”a first unday halacha shiur. He said, “Ah chosen Moshe.”
