Two State Department contract workers were fired Thursday after snooping into Barack Obama’s personal files. The State Department says it fired the workers for inappropriately looking at Obama’s passport records. A third worker was disciplined. Their names were not released Thursday.
It is unknown what they may have seen in the records or what they were looking for.
Obama made no mention of the incident on the campaign trail in West Virginia Thursday.
An Obama spokesman called the incident an outrageous breach of security and privacy, and is asking for a full investigation.
