A Charedi resident of London, was airlifted to the hospital in Scotland on Wednesday after he fell more than 40 feet off of Kincraig Point just after noon. The young man, (approximately 14) sustained serious injuries according to reports in the British press.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he is being treated for his injuries. Scotland is a popular vacation destination for Charedi families from England who are currently on Bein Hazmanin holiday.
According to the reports, this is the fourth time this year that a rescue has been carried out along the coast of Fife’s East Neuk.
The rescue efforts involved five different Coastguard crews from the local area.
