1. If the Democrats take over the Congress after this year’s elections, Trump will be able to blame them for whatever goes wrong (e.g. the recession his trade policy appears to be causing), setting up a 2020 reelection with a return of Republican control of the Congress.

   It depends on which breed of Democrats
   . If it is the Connor Lambs or Jeff Van Drews.Fine. Let them.
   If it is some Ocasio-Cortezs’ and many others of her breed.Would be horrid

3. Max Boot and George Will are real conservatives. They care about the rule of law and limited government. It is not about their vision of the GOP or trying to get favorable ratings it is about putting country over party. Trump is creating the largest deficit ever, Trump attacks the free press, Trump attacks private enterprise, Trump attacks the judiciary, Trump does not respect the rule of law and Trump is weak on Foreign policy Trump also shows an affinity for despots who despise democracy. Trumpism is abhorrent to every true conservative. It is the FOX News faux conservatives like Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity who put party over principle and will justify anything to keep their ratings. If they truly cared about limited government, deficits and strong principled foreign policy they would recognize that Trumpism must be defeated. #NeverTrump
