A fast moving blaze destroyed a home on 57 Street in the Boro Park section of Brooklyn on Tuesday morning.
The FDNY responded to reports of the blaze just before 9:00AM at the residence located at 1109 57 Street near 11 Avenue.
The fire was placed under control in less than an hour, leaving the home destroyed.
Boro Park Hatzolah was dispatched as a precaution, but thankfully, there were no injuries reported.
The second floor of the home reportedly housed a popular women’s tailoring business called “Laura’s Place”.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.

They were operating a commercial business in a residential building. If it wasn’t licensed, and the apartment’s utilities weren’t upgraded,and the insurance policy wasn’t upgraded, there is a good chance the fire insurance won’t pay up.
