Illinois senator Barack Obama is the winner of the Mississippi Democratic primary, the last in a series of presidential contests between Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton before the two rivals settle in for a six-week battle to win Pennsylvania.
In the race for delegates, CBS News projects that Obama will win at least 14 delegates in Mississippi and Clinton will win at least 11, with 8 still to be projected.
Overall, Obama has 1,588 delegates to Clinton’s 1,468.
