There were two simultanious car accidents on Route 17 at the same time, causing traffic delays in both directions.
Just before 3:00PM, emergency personall responded to Route 17 near Exit 108 for an MVA, and just after for an MVA near Exit 107 – in the opposite direction.
No serious injuries were reported.
Expect delays in both directions.

TO ALL THE SUMMER PEOPLE OF ALL ETHIC, COLOR RELIGION ETC…. WHEN YOU ENTER YOUR CAR / VAN BUCKLE YOURSELF IN, PUT YOUR KEY IN THE IGNITION, FOOT ON THE GAS PEDAL..
REMEMBER TO KEEP YOURSELF FOCUSED, EYES ON THE ROAD, OBEY THE SPEED SIGNS, TRAFFIC, CURVES IN THE ROADS, STOP SIGNS, TRAFFIC LIGHTS CHECK YOUR TIRES, KEEP KIDS BUCKLED OR IN CAR SEATS…… WE ARE SO TIRED OF HOW MANY SUMMER PEOPLE VISIT SULLIVAN COUNTY AND OTHER COUNTRIES NEARBY AND CAUSE SOOOOOO MANY ACCIDENTS ON A DAILY BASIS. SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN RESPECT THE ROADS ….NOT FAIR TO US WHO LIVE HERE YEAR ROUND AND OUR INSURANCE RATES FLY THE COOP.
IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT / RULES OF DRIVING –STAY HOME OR WALK, HITCH A RIDE OR TRAVEL BY BUS…..ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
