A young man has been hospitalized with critical injuries on Friday, after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike in Staten Island.
The NYPD says the accident happened at Victory Boulevard and Renwick Avenue in the Sunnyside section of Staten Island on Friday morning.
The 32-year-old Staten Island resident was transported to a Staten Island hospital with a brain injury. He is scheduled to be transported to a Manhattan hospital before Shabbos. He is reportedly in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene, and no arrests have been made.
The victim is the son-in-law of the renowned Baal Chesed, Reb Mendy Rosenberg, the founder of the Chesed Shel Emes Organization.

the next few days are crucial until the swelling goes down to know the extent of the injury,
