President Trump went off-script once-again during his commencement address at the US Naval Academy in Maryland Friday; scrapping his plans to leave after his remarks and vowing to stay “for hours” to shake every graduates hand.
The President was speaking before the graduating class of 2018 when he asked the audience if he should leave following his address, stay and greet the top-ranking class members, or meet every student.
“I was given an option. I could make this commencement address, which is a great honor for me, and immediately leave and wave goodbye,” Trump asked the audience. “Or I could stay and shake hands with just the top 100. Or I could stay for hours and shake hands with 1,100 and something. What should I do? What should I do?”
Well, stay, of course. And stay he did.
Pres. Trump shook the hands of graduates of the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland for nearly 90 minutes this afternoon. Here’s every single one in 41 seconds. https://t.co/tnCnBSEGXL pic.twitter.com/3hVGNQSEOh

Trump is the old authentic American where patriotism and education is on the forefront.
This a brilliant political move. The loyalty he is building in the military will be critical to his draining the swamp. There will eventually come “the night of the long knives.” The day he will move to eradicate America’s internal enemies. He will not be able to rely on the civilian police system. It will be the military that will protect him and the government at that time.
Sorry to burst your bubble Aryeh, but the military are sworn to uphold the Constitution, not the degenerate draft dodger
