Thee local men were caught stealing copper piping from the Pines Hotel, the Times Herald Record reports. Fallsburg police arrived at the shuttered Laurel Avenue property and found Clemente Garcia, 22, Elit Mota, 21, and Efrain Mota, 19, in possession of stolen copper. They were arrested and sent to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

It is interesting to note, that the Pines Hotel, has been set ablaze numerous times over the past year. No one was ever charged in the fires – which were all labeled as arson.
