All refuse materials, including Chometz, should be placed at curbside no later than 11:00 am on Friday, March 30th.
For all residents there will also be an additional early morning recycling collection on Friday. All recycling materials must be placed at curbside on the evening of Thursday, March 29th for collection on Friday, March 30th from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am.
New Department of Sanitation policy requires special appointments for removal of all bulk items. A special appointment for removal of discarded refrigerators and air conditioners is required as well. Arrangements can be made by calling 311 or by visiting www.nyc.gov/sanitation prior to the week of March 23rd to ensure pick-up before the holiday. It is important to prepare early and utilize sanitation services the week before the holiday for bulk items in order to avoid an excessive volume of debris that could impede planned schedules. All mattresses placed out for collection must be sealed in plastic. Failure to do so will result in a summons.
Special thanks to the Department of Sanitation Brooklyn South Borough Superintendent Andrew Pugliese, Deputy Chief Michael Carolan, District 14 Superintendent Joseph Sciulara, as well as our local elected officials for their assistance in developing the plan.
If you have any questions regarding the Passover supplementary schedules, please call the Community Board 14 District Office at 718-859-6357 during regular business hours.

Why are there no special collections between Ave L and Ave P …Coney Island Ave to Ocean Parkway?
We used to have them every year. Did our new Councilman Yeager fall down on the job?
Does he take us for granted?
@Mottel1 – See folks, here is a double ignoramus if you ever wanted to see one.
#1 This is arranged by the community board not your councilman…
#2 Why not look at the other story which actually covered your district? (CB12)
