A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed when he tried to rob an Atlanta police recruit with a shotgun. Later, police reported that he was also being sought by police in DeKalb County for an armed robbery at a synagogue.
DeKalb County police were searching for Demario Jackson of Atlanta for breaking into Ner Hamizrah Synagogue on Lavista Road with a friend and robbing a congregation member at gunpoint.
