There was a fire on Friday night in Boro Park.

According to the FDNY, the fire broke out at around 6:30PM in 1144 52 Street near 10 Avenue.

Boro Park Hatzolah was on the scene and treated one person with a minor injury.

The cause of the fire was unknown.

On Thursday night / Friday morning the FDNY responded to a fire in Boro Park at 1675 45 Street near 16 Avenue. An elderly couple was injured in the fire.

The FDNY says the fire was started by a malfunctioning microwave.

Smoke detectors were working in both incidents.
