Record High Temps Recorded In NYC Today!

sun.jpg(WCBSTV reports:) At 1:00PM EST, the National Weather Service reported the high temperature in Central Park was 67 degrees, destroying the previous record high of 58 set in 1991. But with spring warmth comes spring rain, and the area could see plenty of it.

“Make sure you have the gear for a spring-like day. Some spring storms are headed our way,” says CBS 2 Meteorologist John Elliott.

Elliott says the strong system that caused deadly tornadoes in the Midwest is heading towards the east coast, and a flood watch was issued for most of the area until 3:00PM

In the city, temperatures were expected to fall back into the mid to upper 40s on Thursday, before much colder air blows back in over the weekend.

  1. I love these people that comment about “Global Warmimg” on a hot day!
For all of you that are ignorant in this matter, Global Warming is the slow and gradual warming of the Earth, maybe 1 Degree per Hundered years. In other words, you won’t even notice it.
    I’m out.
