(VIDEOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)
As Klal Yisroel celebrates the release of Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, YWN will continue to update this post with videos Yidden celebrating.
As YWN was first to report the incredible news, President Donald Trump on Wednesday commuted the prison sentence Sholom Rubashkin who was sentenced to 27 years in prison – the first time he’s used the presidential power.
People should take a moment to make sure to send a thank you to President Trump

The decision to intervene on behalf of Sholom Rubashkin, who ran the Iowa headquarters of a family business that was the country’s largest kosher meat-processing company, came at the urging of multiple members of Congress and other high-ranking officials who argued Rubashkin’s sentence was too harsh, the White House said.
The 57-year-old father of 10 has served more than eight years of his sentence, according to the White House, which stressed the action is not a presidential pardon and does not vacate Rubashkin’s conviction.

Thank you for posting the link. I submitted this letter:
Dear President Trump,
The story of Sholom Rubashkin tears the heart. A story of a man excessively sentenced, stripped of his freedom, separated from his family. A wife separated from her husband, and children separated from their father.
I literally cried tears of joy as soon as I heard that “President Trump freed Sholom Rubashkin.” Words cannot describe the feelings of joy, and the feelings of gratitude that are felt towards you.
May God reward you, and your family with endless blessings. May you live a long life with health, happiness, and success. May your days be filled with joy and happiness together with your family.
With Admiration,
Can you post something those of us with filtered internet can see?
YWN, the song by Yossi Green posted above is actually not a new song. Its a Minkatch song that was actually even song last night at the minkatcher Chunakah tish upon the request of the Minkatcher Rebbe (who was heavily involved in Rubashkin’s case and release).
Thank you President Trump!
“Its a Minkatch song”
AFGM,
And exactly how does a song turn into a “Munkatch song” – someone obviously composed it?
And I would figure that “someone” would be___?
