Democrat John Edwards is exiting the presidential race Wednesday – several media outlets reported.
According to WCBSTV, the two-time White House candidate notified a close circle of senior advisers that he planned to make the announcement at a 1:00PM EST event in New Orleans that had been billed as a speech on poverty. The decision came after Edwards lost the four states to hold nominating contests so far to rivals who stole the spotlight from the beginning – Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
The former North Carolina senator will not immediately endorse either candidate in what is now a two-person race for the Democratic nomination, said one adviser, who spoke on a condition of anonymity in advance of the announcement.

I kinda feel bad for him – it’s quite embarrassing to try so hard TWICE and fail so dismally
There is no one to vote for in either party!!!
if im not mistaken, guliani is also backing down!
GOOD RIDDENS…TO BAD RUBBISH
i liked his accent… oh well..
Too bad he didn’t stay till the very end, so he should be able to deplete some more of of the radical left cash… He anyhow didn’t stand a chance.
He was my least favorite out of any of the people in the two parties. Now that Giuliani is out, I will support McCain. He is the only person who has a chance of beating Hillary (or even worse, Obama).
