Today, United States Senator Charles E. Schumer announced his endorsement of Kalman Yeger for the City Council in the 44th District.
“I’m proud to endorse Kalman Yeger for City Council,” said Senator Schumer. “I have known Kalman since he was a youngster – for over two decades. Like me, he dedicated his life to public service at a very young age. Brooklyn needs the passion and devotion Kalman will bring to the job. Kalman has the integrity I love seeing in the next generation of public servants, and he has a proven track record of results. Kalman is smart, tough, committed to our neighborhoods, and he’ll make our city better. I urge residents of Midwood, Boro Park and Bensonhurst to elect Kalman to the City Council. He’ll make you proud like he’s made me proud for as long as I’ve known him.”
“I am deeply honored to receive Senator Schumer’s endorsement,” said Kalman Yeger. “Like me, Chuck Schumer is a fighter for our neighborhood and for New York’s middle-class. Chuck knows our community like the back of his hand, and he’s spent his entire adult life fighting for Brooklyn. With his help and support, I’ll be able to do the same.”
Before his election to the Senate in 1998, Chuck Schumer served in the State Assembly and the House of Representatives, representing many of the same neighborhoods in the 44th Council District.
Kalman Yeger is the Democratic and Conservative parties’ nominee for City Council from the 44th District (Midwood, Boro Park, Bensonhurst).

Even for Chuckie Shumer, this was a no-brainer……how could anyone even seriously consider a single frum guy in his 30s living in his parent’s basement who at times seems more in need of a therapist than providing therapy for some frum mosdos which reportedly have received thousands of dollars from questionable charitiable donations f “Daddy”s” campaign acco0unts. In an interview with the NY Daily News, he seemed uable to answer even the most basic questions about City finances or politics. If it wasn’t so sick, this would seem like a bad Purim spiel…
Chuck is throwing israel.under the bus just to.oppose Trump, plus Chuck is upset that dov yoni father protested him about Iran 2 years ago.
If Schumer endorses Yeger then he can’t possibly be good! Now my mind has been made up!
Another reason to vote Hikind reading Yeger endorsement are encouraging me to vote Hikind
Chuck Schumer is an oisvorf. I was in Washington, DC last week for a conference and Schumer spoke. He said that he recently attended a Jewish/Indian wedding in New York and he referred to it as a “HinJew” wedding. (Hindu & Jew).
What a Menuval he is.
Never forget that Anthony Weiner was his Congressional Aide before becoming a Congressman and marrying a Muslim.
Well, that’s certainly a strike against the candidate.
Another good reason to put my vote elsewhere. Schumer has been nothing more than a party hack, and has never gotten anything right. He withheld his support for the Iran deal only when it was clear that his vote would make no difference. He has accomplished absolutely nothing respectable for NY, and is only a mouthpiece to still push the cursed agenda of Obama and Hillary. There is no reason to respect his judgment, having watched him be wrong nearly 100% of the time. This endorsement has no basis other than politics, and it is a disgrace.
I was planning on voting for yeger.
But now I learned that the genius and the rag endorse him, any I will have to hold my nose as I do it.
All those who say yeshiva world is biased towards yeger , I think these stories are an underhanded way of getting people to vote for hikind.
(hikind for sure thinks so. He sent out a mailing to tell the ugly truth about yeger.
The entire mailing consisted of telling you In 15 slightly different ways ,, that the uft endorsed yeger. But now yeger has three! Strikes against him
Uft
