A group of Boro Park Askanim have contacted YWN with the following request. There is a company which distributes weekly fliers and small ad papers from various different stores – and all come wrapped in a white, plastic bag. The fliers have many indecent photos which are offensive to the local residents, and they should have the right to request to not have them thrown onto their properties against their will.
As many of the readers recall, in February 2007, YWN posted a similar story (HERE) which occurred in the Williamsburg community, and involved the NY Newsday distribution Co, and JC Penny magazine. Thanks to thousands of phone calls to the NY Newsday, the distribution of the unwanted fliers were stopped in that area, after the Newsday agreed to meet with local Askonim; and a map of the Frum community was drawn.
The Boro Park Askonim are now asking for your assistance in the Boro Park area. Kindly call the distribution company, C.B.A., at 1-800-376-6222. Give them you name, address and phone number, and request that they stop distributing this unwanted material to your property.

i think i heard or read somewhere that Hikind is working on law that will make illegal to dunmp flyers on private property..we shuold call and support him on this..
We are inundated with indecent material. Flyers on our doorsteps, business cards on the sidewalks, unsolicited phone calls, e-mails, billboards.
The CHAZA”L state that, before Moshiach comes, we will see the return of the immoral generation that caused the flood. There will be a flood of atheism and immorality.–It’s happening now!

The less shmutz the better, most of those ads are untznius garbage which just shows you how low america has sunk – back in the 20’s, a woman wanted to take out an ad for maternity clothing, no pictures or anything, just words, and no paper would give her the ad..the only explanation for how a normal country like america could turn into the immoral/amoral mess it is now is because it is directly from the rebono shel olam.
