The American people apparently like “reality” television shows, and they are getting want they want. Both parties and all factions therein seem to be up to the challenge. How effective this is at governance is debateable, but it is certainly amusing and entertaining. People like to be entertained. If they wanted serious politicians, most of our elected leaders would unemployable.
