A tense half hour had rescue workers very nervous, but thanks to the work of NYPD, EMS, Williamsburg Shomrim, Hatzolah, and other agencies all ended safely.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30PM when a young man was threatening to jump off the Williamsburg Bridge.

The NYPD ESU quickly responded with an airbag to be deployed underneath the bridge, and Shomrim units were called to try and talk to the man.

Boruch Hashem, the man was safely taken down, and taken by the NYPD for the proper treatment.
