The convicted mastermind of a jihadist terror plot to blow up fuel pipelines at JFK Airport schemed from behind bars to murder key witnesses against him, newly unsealed documents reveal.
Russell Defreitas, 68, a retired airport baggage handler who last year was sentenced to life in prison for the foiled bomb attack plot, enlisted the aid of several fellow prisoners to eliminate witnesses before the beginning of his 2010 terrorism trial in Brooklyn federal court, officials said.
Defreitas also wanted to kill one of his own attorneys, Mildred Whalen, whom he believed to be Jewish, officials said.
“Defreitas told [an informant] that he wants his Jewish attorney dead because she is the reason his first attorney was removed from his case,” prosecutors wrote.

it should be no surprise that Islamist extremists will kill maim and torture to reach any goal that they deem important.
I believe (and I am a frum person) that every one should buy a English translation of the Koran and take it into the bathroom and read it there to really understand the terrible deceptive nature of Islam. I did it but I see few understand what Islam really is.
They have different values than the naive Christians who stupidly believe that Islam desires peace.
