Councilman Simcha Felder raised $449,952 in the last six months, while spending only $75,972, bringing his cash on hand total to $1.37 million. His $1.37 million campaign war chest is one of the largest of all citywide campaigns and was made possible by the generous support of over 1,000 supporters and the careful and efficient spending of only $139,026 throughout this entire campaign cycle.
“I am encouraged by the all the support I have been receiving and am grateful that over a thousand people have contributed to my citywide campaign,” Felder said, “I am proud that I was able to raise money efficiently by spending my campaign money carefully. I am pleased to say that the financial health of my campaign is in great shape.”

It goes without saying that the frum contributers to Councilman Felders campaign are all up to date with their tuition, maaser, tzedaka & other such chiyuvim.
(Unless of course their contribution is a business expense because they expect some political favor in return which will somehow increase their wealth)
Still and all if you have extra $$$ to throw around don’t forget that our yeshivos can always use it.
