On Sunday, White House social media director Dan Scavino tweeted a video he claimed was of Hurricane Irma – but it wasn’t!
In the tweet which he has since deleted, Scavino said it showed planes in the flooded Miami International Airport.
Scavino went so far as to tag President Donald Trump and VP Mike Pence’s twitter accounts, essentially exposing the country’s leaders to ‘Fake News.’
The problem: that wasn’t Miami International Airport, and also not on Sunday!
The airport responded to the tweet alerting Scavino to his error:
This video is not from Miami International Airport.

Scavino eventually took down his tweet and acknowledged his error:
Thank you. It was among 100s of videos/pics I am receiving re: Irma from public. In trying to notify all, I shared – have deleted. Be safe!

For the record, the video tweeted by Scavino was from flooding at an airport in Mexico City two weeks ago, and can be viewed below:

What, flooding in an airport doesn’t count if it’s in Mexico? The mainstream media are so anti-Trump that it’s OK for them to be anti-Latino in the process?
