On Erev Shabbos, Hatzalah volunteers in Williamsburg, Brooklyn met at the home of veteran Hatzalah dispatcher Yidel Deutsch, in advance of the impending Hurricane Irma.
All Hatzalah dispatching for the Miami-area throughout the duration of the hurricane will be run out of Deutsch’s home. This includes coordination for the large convoy of ambulances Hatzalah will be sending to Miami from the Tri-state area.
Known in Hatzalah as W-19, Deutsch has 25 years of experience, and has dispatched some of the most intense communication days for Hatzalah, including the 9/11 terror attacks and during many other disasters.

There is simply nothing as beautiful as our nation- Klal Yisroel. In this 21st century, with all our shortcomings- there is nothing that can take away from our beauty, our sterling ahavas yisroel, our concern for another human being. May Hashem watch over all of his beautiful children. Gut Voch.
How can people eat erev Shabbos? No wonder there’s so much obesity in our community.
