Two children were assaulted on Kent Avenue near Clymer Street a few minutes ago – for a reason which is still unknown. Thanks to the fast response of Williamsburg Shomrim, and the NYPD all three white males suspects have been apprehended and arrested. Williamsburg Hatzolah was dispatched to the scene as well, and treated an 11-year-old child for minor injuries. The other child, a 13-year-old was uninjured.

Williamsburg Shomrim famously responding to a ”chaptz eim” call in no time once again.

sassoonn – Obviously they were acting inappropiately. How else do you describe assulting children? Why do you think they were apprehended by Williamsburg Shomrim and arrested by NYPD?
details folks, details – for the good of the community. What are we watching out for?? is it safe for our kids to walk the streets??? lets hear the WHOLE STORY PLEASE!!
“Reason not known”? What does that mean.
Do the thugs need reasons to assault Jews?
chaptzem
I have heard many times ths comment ” what did they do to provike this?” and while we should always act appropriately does anyone recall a jew or group of jews beating up people with or without a reason? when we will stop looking for reasons to explain why a goy beats up a jew.
i live in that vicinity and pass there often.it is not a very safe area at night especially.as a child my father never let me go to kent avenue myself-even for a minute.you never know who is there.there is a park on clymer bet. wythe and kent.many times i passed this park and saw groups of teens just hanging around at 9:30.if the city keeps these parks open, of course it opens the door to many more crimes commited in the parks.
#2 WHY WERE THEY ASSAULTED?:
who says there’s a reason why…? how about just for fun?
#8 you’re right that it’s not a safe area, but we gotta be careful ALL OVER. A child was assaulted a while ago on Ross St. (bet Lee & Bedford) & if I remember correctly, it wasn’t even dark outside – before 8:00.

it’s true that we must be careful all over.but by closing the parks at dusk, that certainly cuts down the chances of anything happening.
i remember when that little girl was assaulted on ross street.however that does not happen every day…all these types of places must be closely watched or have a gate and only the occupants of the building can have a key…otherwise these kinds of stories will happen again…
