It didn’t attract much notice, but the General Assembly of the United Nations ended the year by passing a disgusting resolution protecting Islam from criticism of its human rights violations.
Lots of non-Muslims voted for it – a sign that more and more corrupt Third World governments are identifying with the ideology of Islam, even if they don’t accept its doctrines.
The resolution goes under the innocuous title “Combating defamation of religions” – but the text singles out “Islam and Muslims in particular”. It expresses “deep concern that Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism”.
Wrongly associated? As of today, terrorists have carried out 10,277 separate attacks since September 11, 2001. They all belong to the same religion, and it ain’t Methodism.
The resolution (which of course makes no mention of the vicious persecution of Christians) was pushed through by the 57-nation Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which has been agitating for it for years. Naturally every Muslim country was among the 108 supporters, but it’s interesting to note how other countries lined up.
Cuba, China, North Korea and Zimbabwe all voted the same way. I’ll give you one guess.

It’s so unfortunate how hipocritical the wold has beome. Do you remember about two years ago there was a cartoon depicting “mouhamad” as a killer and arrabs all over the world went protesting violently. They want to kill as much as they want and get a green pass! I wonder if the general public sees through these violent animals.
you can’t call them a religion of “piece” b/c they don’t want a piece that want the whole thing.

This event just serves to make an even larger mockery of what the UN really is. Just remember, that this is the organization that place Libya on the human rights commission.

Not having signed the referendum, I would like to bash Moslems. Before anybody issues a fatwa on my head, I would like to state that I am not bashing Allah, the Koran, Islam, or the prophet. I am bashing Moslems, that seem to have an overall serious mental deficiency. My favorite example is “Israeli Nazis.” Moslems use this phrase without end and it is interesting what claims or often intertwined in the same writings. For example, Moslems will believe all of the below:
The holocaust did not happen. Of course if the holocaust did not happen, the nazis did not do anything bad, and the phrase Israeli Nazi is menaingless. The Mufti Y”Sh, when he was kicked out of Palestine for instigating the anti Jewish riots from 1936-39, he went to Syria to aid the pro-nazi revolt. In 1941 he went to Berlin, where he was a guest of Adolph Y”Sh until the war’s end in 1945. While there, he organized 20,000 Bosnian Moslems into an SS Division. (who’s a Nazi?) He was indicted for war crimes after the war but escaped to Cairo where he lived until his death in 1974. Shortly after 9-11 an Egyptian Newspaper editor wrote an editorial thanking Hitler Y”Sh for taking revenge on the Jews in advance, of the “Holocaust” that the Jews would foist on the Palestinians, so the holocaust really did happen but it was good that the nazis did it. Meanwhile the israelis are nazis, mein Kampf is being published in Arabic and being sold throughout the Arab world. Only the mind of a Moslem could accept all that. Mark my words, the day will come when scientist will identify the “stupid gene” common to all moslems, there only question will be, How did converts get it? The gene will most likely be found amongst all those that voted for the resolution together with the “cowardice gene.”

The composer was Dmitri Shostakovich. Under the Soviets he was expected to produce all sorts of propagandistic works. The lyrics weren’t his, and the music was actually written from an earlier piece by Shostakovich. They were written by Harold Rome. Rome was a far-left songwriter, who while not a member of the Communist Party, was highly sympathetic to the Soviet Union and considered it as an ideal society.
(Tiomkin, on the other hand, left Russia for the US in 1920. He was one of the better second-rate film composers; many of his scores rise above hackwork.)
