1. Why are you giving coverage to the most racist elected official in the country?
   Mr. Apaio is the subject of numerous investigations into his mis-conduct in office and this seems an obvios ploy to deflect the attention of the Justice Department looking into his civil rights violations.

4. I don’t understand why someone doesn’t check the State department records to see where his mother was at the time of his birth. If she had left the country, they would still have the visas on record.

5. I’ve been saying forever that the man is a fraud. He belongs in jail. There is just so much evidence, I don’t get why he is being allowed to get away with this.

6. This is a serious distraction. Romney will have enough problems defeating an sitting President (something that has been done only a handful times in American history) without having nutcases grabbing the public stage with irrelevant gibberish (since unless they can show that Obama’s mother was not his mother, it is irrelevant where he was born since a “natural” born citizen means a citizen at birth, which the child of an American mother is, regardless of the father’s nationality). I wouldn’t be surprised if the Democrats are “helping” the birthers to distract attention from Obama’s failed policies.

7. The real answer may lie with Obama’s mother’s passport.
   If Obama was born in Kenya, he would probably have been added to his mother’s passport in order for her to return to the USA.
   Why hasn’t anyone checked her passport record?

9. As soon as I saw it. I felt something is fishy. Not that I could prove it’s fake. I think most of us born in the USA have a birth certificate if we would loose ours we would apply for a copy. For some reason or another we might need it, for Proof of something. I was born closer to 40 years ago and mine looks all brown and its a smaller size of paper then the current Birth certificate they issue today. The one he is showing looks very up to date. What he lost his? he didn’t care if he had one or not until now? Suddenly when Trump started making a fuss that’s when he applied for a copy? Come on,

    I see. That sounds very reliable. Really the people I would choose for such an investigation.

    Now as for the previous poster asking why Obama’s birth certificate looks so new: it’s because it’s not an original but a modern extract. (Just guessing, there). These records are all computerized nowadays and if you will today contact whatever place you were born in where they keep the birth records, you’ll get one that looks exactly like that. So that doesn’t mean anything at all.

    Altogether the whole argument that Obama shouldn’t be allowed to be president if he had been born abroad seems irrelevant to me. Davka you people, who are YOURSELVES IMMIGRANTS, or children or grandchildren of immigrants – why are you objecting to this?! Are immigrants somehow less patriotic?

    Why don’t you advocate applying the same rules to Israel then? Because Israel is a country of immigrants, right? Well, so is America!

    The whole restriction on non-US born citizens becoming president is an idiotic thing, I say.
