  1. The Jewish Federation, building across the street at 6505 Wilshire Blvd was not evacuated but was on lock down for an hour and no one, employees or visitors, were allowed in or out of the building, but we were not evacuated. I know this because I work in the building.

This building also houses many other Jewish agencies including Jewish Family Service, Bureau of Jewish Education, Jewish Free Loan, Jewish Vocation Service and the Jewish Community Foundation among other things.

  2. Baruch Hashem, LAPD, came out in force. Actually about 2 1/2 blocks were blocked and all of us eating at LaGondola were evacuated at about 2:15pm.
