Two people were killed and at least four others are in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash the George Washington Bridge Wednesday night.

It happened on the upper level of the bridge, coming into New York City, just after 9:30 p.m.

The four injured people were taken to Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.

The upper level of the GWB is closed in both directions.
