[Click HERE for photos] People arriving for Shacharis this morning in one of Belgium’s largest Shuls were shocked at what met their eyes. Unknown vandals broke dozens of windows in one of Antwerp’s largest, and most beautiful Shuls – a source confirmed to Yeshivaworld. Many of the Machzikei Hadass Shul’s windows were smashed with rocks on Wednesday night, which were found inside the shul amongst the broken glass. The Antwerp police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Machzikei Hadass used to be the central Shul in Antwerp, but attracts a very small Minyan recently. The local community tend to daven in their local, smaller Shuls.
