San Diego: Bullet Holes Found in Chabad House Windows

A rabbi was searching for answers to why the windows of his synagogue had been shot Sunday.

Bullet casings and three holes were found in the windows of the Chabad Center of University City on Governor Drive Sunday morning, Rabbi Moishe Leider said.

Leider said filed a police report claiming that the incident may have been a hate crime, but police haven’t offered any leads in the case.

No injuries were reported in connection to the incident.

Anyone with information about the shooting has been asked to contact San Diego Police Department 619-531-2000.

  1. #2, recently chabad has been the victim of these type of attacks so it’s very reasonable to believe it was a hate crime!

  2. #3, how is it reasonable? Shuls and churches in general are always subject to vandalism; what makes this different? Why would it even occur to anyone that it might be motivated by hate without any evidence for that? Don’t we have enough verified tzoros without inventing more for ourselves?
