There is a fire at Five Town Falafel in Woodmere – exact address is 18 Irving Place. FD companies from Lawrence, Cederhurst, and Hewlett are on the scene. The fire originated in the walls of the structure, and spread to other parts of the building. Everyone safely evacuated the store, and Boruch Hashem there are no injuries being reported. As of this time, all visible fire has been extinguished – but the FD are still searching for additional pockets of fire. The Fire Marshals, and Health Department have been requested to the scene as well.
