We are sorry to have to share the tragic news that HaRav Leonard Tann of Birmingham England was suddenly Nifter, two days ago. The Rav was the long serving Rav of that cities oldest kehillah and had made a name for himself as a eloquent spokesman for the Jewish community. At the levaya there was a strong contingent of secular and other faith leaders who shared in the loss the Jewish community has sustained. Rav Tann was especially gifted in a warm personality the drew many to him and his was a life that radiated Kiddush Hashem in all its aspects.
