West Haverstraw, NY – A home on Zarriello Lane exploded following a gas leak, MonseyScoop.com is reporting.
According to initial reports, Firefighters were at the door of the townhouse when the explosion occurred. The explosion caused a large gas-fed blaze and evacuations of nearby homes. The home has been completely leveled from the blast.
Sources tell MonseyScoop.com that a road construction crew hit a gas main while digging. That prompted firefighters to start evacuating surrounding homes, and were literally standing in front of the home located on Zarriello Lane, when it exploded.
