1. I would think that texting would be a worse violation. After all, you have to look away from the road to type, but you can keep your eyes on the road while talking on a handheld cellphone.
   Unless, not to be cynical over here, but there are probably more talking violations than typing violations, and that means more money for the state.

   the other way around would be far more logical.

3. IMO-thats a little backwards-you have to look down to type-while talking, at least you can keep your eyes on the road…

4. Is he going to pay any fines retroactively for the accident he was in. I hate hypocritical politicians.

6. What a miserable sick hypocrite Corzine is. What causes accidents is driving at 90 mph down a freeway, moron. Stop finding creative ways to tax us and use the excuse for the safety of the public when you yourself put others in danger and got away with it scott free.
   Its high time these corrupt politicians stop their hypocrisy.
   New Jersey voters, shove him out of office come election time.

9. NJ.com and the Asbury Park Press website are both reporting that the fine for talking on the phone while driving is $100 as well.
