WCBSTV is reporting that a swastika was found spray painted on the door of a Jewish faculty member of the Teachers College of Columbia University on Wednesday. It’s just the latest in a series of hateful incidents taking place at the school.

Columbia University reported the incident to the NYPD, and it is being investigated as a hate crime.

In a statement, the university said they felt they were being targeted because of their for deep multi-cultural work, and insisted they would maintain their tradition of operating as an open, tolerant community.

On Oct. 9, a noose was left outside the door of an African American professor at the college.

Days later, a men’s bathroom at the university was vandalized with swastikas and anti-Semitic graffiti. Then just last week, two teachers college professors received anti-Zionist letters.
