3:00PM EST: FDNY and Boro Park Hatzolah are on the scene of a fire in the Pupa Yeshiva building on 4702 10th Avenue at 47th Street. FDNY is reporting that the fire reportedly started in the basement, and they have a heavy smoke condition throughout the building. Additional info to follow.
UPDATE 3:09PM EST: FDNY reports that the fire is under control – and appears to be a paper fire which started in the basement. Boruch Hashem, all children were safely evacuated from the structure – and there are no injuries.
