US Evangelical Christians Are Offering Each Iranian Jew $10G To Move To Israel

cash.jpgAmerican evangelical Zionists have helped entice dozens of Iranian Jews to move to Israel in recent months by offering cash incentives and warning of potential danger to Iran’s Jewish community.

Every Iranian Jew who moves to Israel is promised $10,000, according to The Associated Press. Immigrants also receive aid from the Israeli government upon arrival.

There are about 25,000 Jews in Iran – the largest Jewish community in the Middle East outside Israel.

The organization has successfully brought 82 Jews from Iran to Israel since the project began earlier this year, according to AP. They hope to bring another 60 Jews by the end of the year.

  1. What is an “American evangelical Zionist”?

If they’re goyim (i.e., evangelical Xtians, who want all Jews to move to Israel, so their Xtian “prophesies” can be fulfilled), then I would suspect there are dangerous strings attached to the $10K bribe.

  2. Christians or Zionists?

In the header it says “US Evangelical ‘Christians'” while in the article it says “American evangelical ‘Zionists'”.

  3. i knew that “Veshavu banim legevulam”
i didnt realize the goyim would facilitate that with cash payments.

  4. as an answer to #1, 2 and #3, evangelical christian zionists are christians who believe as part of their theology in supporting the state of israel and encouraging jews to move there. I have read that 60 million americans identify themselves as evangelical chrisians/christian zionists (synonyms). not all of their endeavors come with strings attached. their donations are the backbone of nefesh b’nefesh as far as I know, for example.
they also stand together with frum jews on most moral issues affecting america. agudas yisroel many times partners with them to lobby the gov’t.
independently of their theology, their support of the jews, i believe, is something laudable.

  5. $10 000 is not going to get them very far in Israel!

I’d say $200 000 would be a good start. Any less and they’d probably be better off in Iran!

  6. The Yiddish shprach has a kedusha attached to it as a result of all the Torah that has taken place in it over the many centuries.
