Czech neo-Nazis from the National Resistance can rejoice as the court has agreed for the second time with their request to march through Prague at the anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Prague Daly Monitor writes today.
The city court has overturned for the second time the ban on the march issued by the Prague Town Hall.
The neo-Nazis have announced the date of their rally for November 10, the anniversary of the 1938 pogrom in Germany.
The Prague City Hall had banned the march designed to mark the anniversary of the Nazi Jewish pogrom pointing out that the goals of the event declared by its organisers were aimed at inciting intolerance and hatred against citizens on the basis of their ethnicity, origin and religious conviction.
However, National Resistance activist Erich Sedlacek filed a lawsuit against the decision. He was successful at the city court and he announced it again. The Prague Town Hall banned it again and Sedlacek filed another lawsuit with the same result.
The court cancelled the decision of the Prague Town Hall and neo-Nazis will be probably allowed to march through Prague.

I guess there are too many Jews living in Prague for the Czech courts to tolerate. R”L!!!!
This is very sad! It means that 60+ years has passed and nothing has changed.
If don’t learn from history, it will repeat itself. Have we learned? I think not. Some “frum” people still buy German made prodcts, drive around in BMWs and Mercedes. They think they are being “cool” by flaunting their riches, however, what they are doing is showing the world that the Nazis YM”S have in a way, won. We buy their products, we travel there, therefore, it’s an okay place. Germany, and any other country that personally aided the Nazis has blood on their hands. In this day and age where anti-semitism is rampant worldwide (Eretz Yisroel INCLUDED), we must wake up and see the truth- the Goyim still hate us as much as ever. They can talk a good show- but- Eisav Soneh Es Yaakov. Period.
Swatztikas are everywhere- E”Y, Europe, Queens, Brooklyn, Cedahurst- all over.
Does anyone really question why this is happening? Do we educate our sons and daughters about the Holocust and everything that led up to it (besides for the anti-zionism and reform movement)? Are there any classes in Bais Yaakov’s and boys yeshivos- across the spectrum of yeshivish-chassidish schools? If not, then question that. Do your children know what happened in the Holocust or is it something is “not to be talked about or asked about”? If it is, why? If you don’t learn from history, it will repeat itself.
Pretty sick – Local jews should organize a counter demonstration in the same place as this other rally.

history does seem to be in our hands.
but it is not.
a_sound_voice—Well said!!
2,
Beautiful post!
I don’t get it, people that are pro nazis are going to be going on a march for the anniversary of Kristallnacht??
just like in new york various politically incorrect groups enjoy the freedom to parade, perhaps the czechs cannot prevent groups parading there that may also be politically incorrect. but the fact that there are enough people to march is upsetting.
It’s well known that GM directly aided Hitler and was much much more to blame than Mercedes or Walfswagen…
Want to start a petition to teach our children and grandchildren ‘Jewish History’ in the yeshivos and BY, including holocaust and Israel history. If not in 50 years these blogs will be quite boring..
Illini, do us all a favour and next time you decide to spew out your ignorance please get a little educated.
you say;
‘While there might still be problems in Germany (and indeed everywhere), does it really make sense to impute the fault for the Holocaust on everyone in a country when many (if not most) of the primary active and productive citizens were too young to know/do anything? What about 50 years from now, when everyone who had anything to do with the Holocaust is likely dead? What then?’
Are you aware of the fact that Hashem pays back
generations for sins of ancestors??
Also did you know that one should not cross a bridge with someone who is a ‘chayov’ lest they put themselves in peril as well?
