According to a report on the Shmais website, Governor of Florida Charlie Crist says that a prayer he made at the Kosel spared Florida from hurricanes. While speaking at a breakfast at Florida’s Republican Party convention in Orlando, Crist related how he had placed a Kvittel in the Kosel asking God to protect Florida from hurricanes. “So far, so good,” Crist said.
Crist was recently criticized by the ACLU for hanging a Mezuzah on the door leading into his formal Capitol office – as was reported HERE on YW.
