(Anti-Semite) Ann Coulter: Jews Need to Be Perfected

Slash-and-burn columnist Ann Coulter shocked a cable TV talk-show audience Monday when she declared that Jews need to be “perfected” by becoming Christians, and that America would be better off if everyone were Christian.

Coulter made the remarkable statements during an often heated appearance to promote her new book on advertising guru Donny Deutsch’s CNBC show “The Big Idea.”

In response to a question from Deutsch asking Coulter if “it would be better if we were all Christian,” the controversial columnist responded: “Yes.”

“We should all be Christian?” Deutsch repeated.

“Yes,” Coulter responded, asking Deutsch, who is Jewish, if he would like to “come to church with me.”

Deutsch, pressing Coulter further, asked, “We should just throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians?” She responded: “Yeah.”

Coulter deflected Deutsch’s assertion that her comments were anti-Semitic, matter-of-factly telling the show’s obviously upset host, “That is what Christians consider themselves: perfected Jews.”

Excerpt from the end of the interview:

DEUTSCH: You said — your exact words were, “Jews need to be perfected.” Those are the words out of your mouth.

COULTER: No, I’m saying that’s what a Christian is.

DEUTSCH: But that’s what you said — don’t you see how hateful, how anti-Semitic —

COULTER: No!

DEUTSCH: How do you not see? You’re an educated woman. How do you not see that?

COULTER: That isn’t hateful at all.

DEUTSCH: But that’s even a scarier thought. OK —

DEUTSCH: We will let the audience decide then, won’t we? Ann Coulter. New book. More “Big Idea” straight ahead……

  1. Unfortunately, there are Christians out there who believe they have a responsibility to “save us” from gehennom by convincing us to convert. It’s part of their religious beliefs. This is the whole precept behind missionaries. It’s may not be rooted from hatred, but it’s just as dangerous, if not more so, to yidden.

  2. This is not antisemitic. This is standard Christian theology, that Jews are unperfected and would be better off if they were Christian. You can disagree with it, but let’s withhold our labeling of anti-semetism so that when something is truly anti-semitic, our dismay is taken seriously.

  3. i dont find it shocking or hateful
she believes kris-tianity is the only true religion. and that everyone should believe as she does. that’s what most kris-tians (and mooslems, etc)think also.
she just has the courage to say what is not politically correct, such statements always jumped heavily upon by the misguided liberal media.

  4. Realize that Ann Coulter is deliberately attempting to be shocking, in order to sell books or whatever. It would be surprising if she were not saying something controversial.

Isn’t it true that the YW stories that are the most controversial get the most comments? The controversial author sells the most books.

  5. I dont want to sound like a prude, but I dont think contreversial trash like Ann Coulter deserves space on a site like YW.

  6. I agree with nameless. There is nothing “new” or “news” here. She is a hate-filled woman. Why give her the attention she wants?

  7. Ann Coulter is anything but politically correct. She says what she means, and of course is trying to sell books.

Still, I find her comments way over the top. although I tend to agree with many of her conservative ideas.

  8. I agree with “nameless.” The voice of sheker (the media) has no place on YW. We are taught to carefully guard the seven gates to the neshama: the eyes, ears, nose, mouth. I appreciate YW and the access it provides to what is happening in the Yiddishe world. Please choose the material to be viewed wisely. Thank you.

  9. If you watch the clip (wont tell you where to find out or YW wont post this comment) it is not nearly as bad as it sounds. It is exactly as #6 says. That being said, i have heard many times from Gedolim that we have a lot more to fear from the right wing in this country than the left wing.

  10. Ann Coulter is not an anti-semite. She has a right to believe that her religion has taken our religion to a higher level, and that’s all she meant by “perfected.” We know that she’s wrong, but that doesn’t make her anti-semitic. She is, in fact, very friendly toward Jews in general.

  11. i disagree with all those that say the story does not belong here. it is important to see what well known and respected(?) people say.

post #5 – not anti-semitic??? so did the spanish inquisition have nothing to do with anti-semitism either? was that also just good old Christian theology (to use your phrase)?

eisav hates Yaakov – this has nothing to do with the sheker of “completing” or “perfecting” us. it has everything to do with getting us to disappear.

  12. I think that this is a reminder for all of us who agree with the right wing in this country. While we, as frum jews, tend to agree with 90% of what they say or write, let us remember that they are not on our side.

To #13, while you are correct that many Gedolim feel that way, it is not all. R’ Avigdor Miller ZT”L was very outspoken about how much of a danger the left wing of this country is to us as they affect the society that we live in. He always supported the right wing candidates.

  13. ‘i disagree with all those that say the story does not BELONG HERE,,,,,,.’

So on the top of this page we have a ‘toilet mouth’ like Ms; Coulter, and then a few sections below, ‘LEHAVDIL BEN TUMEH LITIHARO, we have the petirah of Reb, Shifra Tendler, and you think this is suitable???

  14. Ann Coulter is one of the foremost spokespeople of the conservative movement and she makes more sense than the vast majority of commentators that are out there. She is not an obnoxious person except in the opinion of the Liberals which she skewers daily.

That being said, she is a sincere Xtian and wants to convert everyone. She is not doing it out of any hatred or malice or anti Semitism.

In any case, whatever her motive, her missionary efforts should be rejected. However, she is much more a friend of the Jews than all the other phonies that act as if they like us.

  15. i disagree with some your bloggers that claim that this ann coulter matter should not be on the yeshiva world news item. we must always be reminded by the yeshiva world how and by whom anti-semitic remarks are conducted. we cannot live in a isolated and protected world.its important to know who your enemies as well as who you friends are.

  16. ohk so she doesnt like jews, we as jews dont care, i mean- “you, who are you- ann coulter?!” enjoy ur life as a “perfected jew” christian, ur mixed up.

  17. I hope the Yated Ne’eman stops quoting her. She gives conservatives a bad name and now she will surely send the Jews to the Democratic party. Dumb shiksa!

  18. Not only do I not think her comments are Anti-semetic I also don’t think there’s anything shocking or wrong with what she said. If you do not believe that the world would be better if everyone believed in the same god as you I would say you’re lacking in your belief. This is very typical of the attacks on Ann Coulter if you actually think logically about what she says and don’t act based on emotions you’ll see that she is quite logical.

  19. Exactly what is anti-semetic about her remarks? Just because she belives the world would be better if we were all Christian, does not mean she is an anti-semite. It is a common Christian belief, and it does not in any way constitute anti-semitism. If you are bored and have nothing better to do with your time than trying to label people as anti-semites, at least have a relevant teinah.

  20. This is becoming a big deal because the media is blasting that she is an Anti Semite. The reason they are doing this is because she is a big threat to the liberal left and they are trying to smear her in anyway possible. I believe that Esov hates Yakov but lets call a spade a spade. Who is really the real anti Semites? Its no secret but everybody knows it’s the liberal left. Carter, Colombia University etc. I can’t believe that YW bought into this lie that the media is trying to tell us. It is not Coulter who is the anti Semite it is them and since one of the things she does is stick up for Israel and not Hamas they are trying to destroy her. Now comes YW and adds fuel to their fire. Just because she is saying what all Christians believe in does not make her an Anti Semite. All Christians believe the same thing she was saying. She did not say she will force us to become Christians and she did not say we will be burnt at the stake if we do not become Christians. She just said her belief which is the belief of any practicing Christian. She might not be an Anti Semite.

  21. I’m really conflicted here on 1 hand I’m thinking yea that’s pretty anti-semetic and on the other hand I’m thinking don’t all christians think that? and just don’t voices it. I dunno.

No I have to decide if I should keep my subscription to her newspaper Human Events, and I just ordered her book……… what to do, what to do.

This aside. Halachah He Biyadua Sh’Aysov Soneh L’yaakov

  22. This is a basic Xtian tenet–what’s the big deal? She states it like it is–did you really believe that the Xtians love us? She of all people is not an anti-semite. Sharpton, Jackson, Carter, the good Democrats–THEY are the anti-semites.

  23. 19,
Its not a question of being shelterd and its fine to read about her views. I just dont think a site which involves so many Torah Giants and other Choshever people should include a personality with her contreversial way of expression in general(eg, how she alluded to John Edwards) Its ok to trash up your political opponent but the way she did it was RATHER SLEAzY…

  24. Here is a more full transcript. Notice how this sentence,

“COULTER: Well, you could be a practicing Jew, but you’re not.”

is not in the above copy. She has an axe to grind against liberal Jews, which way too many of our fellow brethren are.

    COULTER: Oh, no.
DEUTSCH: — that there would be a bigger difference between the rich and the poor, a lot of other — tell me what — why this would be a better world? Let’s give you — I’m going to give you — say this is your show.
COULTER: Well, OK, take the Republican National Convention. People were happy. They’re Christian. They’re tolerant. They defend America, they —
DEUTSCH: Christian — so we should be Christian? It would be better if we were all Christian?
    COULTER: Yes.
DEUTSCH: We should all be Christian?
COULTER: Yes. Would you like to come to church with me, Donny?
DEUTSCH: So I should not be a Jew, I should be a Christian, and this would be a better place?
COULTER: Well, you could be a practicing Jew, but you’re not.
DEUTSCH: I actually am. That’s not true. I really am. But — so we would be better if we were – if people — if there were no Jews, no Buddhists —

  25. to: you dont me, efshar your right the same religion the whole world etc., but to say the whole world shud serve the christian religion and g-d, i mean that you cant say. where will you stop??

  26. Flatbush bubby,

The only bad name she gets is from the disgusting liberals that she correctly repudiates.

    Greaseball,

She did not say Jews are bad.

    Rebshalom,

She is not at all a neo Nazi. You must have been reading the NY Times too often.

We all know that Eisav sonei l’yaakov. However, we deal with nochrim all the time. In terms of Jewish and Israel interests, she is one of those that ia a relative ally more than an enemy. The anti Semitic label is just and ignorant and predictable Liberal smear.

  27. What’s shocking about this? What on earth is antisemitic about wanting everyone to embrace what she believes to be the truth? Don’t we pray for exactly the same thing – yakiru veyed’u kol yoshvei sevel…viykablu khulam alehem es ol malkhusekha etc? We believe that we have the truth and expect that in the end everyone will recognise and adopt it, and they believe exactly the same thing. What else should they believe? That they don’t have the truth? If they didn’t think their god was true, why would they continue to worship him?

There’s nothing antisemitic about wanting us to accept their religion; on the contrary, a Xian who says that he doesn’t want the Jews to convert, because he’d rather see us all go to Hell, that’s an antisemite.

  28. Here’s a PREVIOUS quote from that interview that was left out:
“DEUTSCH: We should all be Christian?

COULTER: Yes. Would you like to come to church with me, Donny?

DEUTSCH: So I should not be a Jew, I should be a Christian, and this would be a better place?

COULTER: Well, you could be a PRACTICING Jew, but you’re not.”

  29. i dont see anything in the article about John Edwards. what sleazy thing did she do, nameless? and where are you seeing this? if it doesnt belong on YW, u dont belong wherever that sleazy stuff is

  30. #33
The answer to your question “Where will you stop” Until you cross the line and advocate forcing people to conform to your beliefs you can say and believe whatever you want. You could easily have a story similar to this saying that Jews hate Christians (or some other group)there are things we believe that would make lots of people think we hate them even though we don’t. I recently read some of the Unibomber Manifesto and found myself agreeing with a lot of what it said yet I’m not about to go around killing people. My point is that just b/c someone is right wing or left wing does not mean they are a Nazi or Communist, you can have beliefs that other people think are crazy without being crazy.

  31. #36 – Milhouse I agree.

Truth be told its hard how anyone could believe in Christianity as being the true religion. Its truly an empty and futile excersise.

However we would all agree that she’d be better off if she was jewish (and frum) right? Does that make us anti-American? Anti-Christian?

She isn’t anti-semitic (openly anyway). Doesn’t mean I wanna have her by my shabbos table though.

  32. Flatbush Bubby is right. Whatever (assimilated) Jews out there who are not liberal dems yet, may move to the left. Takeh a ‘dumb shiksa.’ But by & large she is very pro Israel/Jews.

  33. Yidel (#29). I didnt say the Gedolim like the left wing better. I said they are more fearful of the right wing. The danger of the left wing is a hashkafa thing and of limited danger to your day to day life. The right wing is a few weeks from picking up pitch forks against us at all times. (I am a registered Reublican so dont everybody start calling me a liberal. I am just quouting Gedolim).

  34. woodsy,

    Not in THIS article,
On another occassion she referred to John Edwards in a deragotary way using a term which will not be approved on this site; It caused a stir up!

  35. #42 R’ you dont know me shlita
You wrote, “that there are things that we believe that make lots of people think we hate them even though we don’t.” First of all we do hate, Uncle Yishmael, Uncle Esav, our Uncle Lavan (Ha’Arami), Amalek..these people wronged us in their evil ways.
The Unabomber Manifesto, the “great” Theodore Kaczynski… I just started reading it, i’ll keep you posted.

  36. enough already of all this nonsense who cares if she is or isn’t an anti semite, no one has any shlita on us whether they are pro yidden or an anti yidden unless the aibeshter wants, YW is just reporting the news and it should stick to that and none of this nonsense maybe we should all go take out a mussar sefer now and learn something about emuna. GUT SHABBOS

  37. From the looks of the REAL transcript it seems she opened her mouth and stuck her put into it. Her problem was she couldnt get it out and horray for the interviewer for going after her for her stupidity.

I got a laugh out of the “practicing” line. There is no doubt people who “practice” get lots more “credit” than those who are jewish at heart.

  38. Without reading the previous 51 comments, so my apologies if this has been mentioned, Ann is NOT an anti Semite. She supports the state of Israel publically -more than our elected leaders like Olmert who want to give up Yerushalayim (“but they PROMISE to let us go to the kosel!”) and understands terror and is not afraid to call a spade a spade. That she would like Jews to become Christians does not make her an antisemite. It just makes her a Christian. I read her column regularly and I think it’s, for the most part, full of undeniable truths. We should be thankful someone whose articles are so well read believes that we should not actually release palestinian prisoners. Contrast her to every other media outfit – she is on our side, people.

  39. Trefene Baal Habos, The Gedolim consistently fear the left-wing anti-semitism far more than the right.

It is the leftists in the Democrat party (Sharpton, Jackson, etc.) who are open anti-semites and are still tolerated and honored by the Democrat party.

  40. I heard her explain that people who accept Yoshke are saved and are no longer bound to the laws of the Torah (Old T.) She complained however that most Jews don’t follow the Torah. Except for Yoshke she’s right. Is she anti-semitic? Push comes to shove they all are. So she referred to Jews as “unperfected”. How do we refer to them. Shiksa gotye…. Are we anti-christian???

  41. Jews in the US act as if cossacks are coming over the next hill every other week when there have been two pogroms in the northwest hemisphere in the last 4 centuries: Leo Frank and Crown Heights.

Instead of expressing more legitimate outrage over the Empire State Building becoming the world’s tallest minaret this weekend, we’re terrified of American Christians who have been the most benevolent host in our history of golus.

Better that the US fall to a totalitarian taliban than revert to a flavor of benign Christianity that aspires to “Father Knows Best” 1950’s values? Wake up, chevra!

Ann is NOT an antisemite. I’ve met her. I’ve spoken with her. Her exasperation (which I share) is with those Jews (Michael Lerner, Richard Dreyfus, Barbara Streisand, Noam Chomsky, et al) who assert that their values are Jewish. I told her I’d fight on her side in the crusade she suggested that got her fired from the National Review:

” We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren’t punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That’s war. And this is war.”

Yeah, American Christianity is a few orders of magnitude better than 99% of Islam. Devout Muslims want to convert/kill/dhimmify us now. Moderates are willing to wait until they perceive a time when it will be easier for them.

If I have a chance to speak with Ann again, and I may when she goes on tour again, I’d like to clarify to her a common misconception that we don’t expect HER to keep kosher or shabbos and that if she’s keeping the Noachide laws, she’s going to find herself in good company in olam haba.

As I’ve gone from secular to a father of bais yakov girls, I’ve found that good gentiles LOVE it when Jews act consistently Jewish. When we don’t ring true, it grates on their souls.

  42. Shalom Alechiem,

First I am of the Christian faith.

Secondly,I believe Ann Coulter and others like her have it all wrong!

Nowhere in Christian New Testament scriptures did Christ tell anyone to leave the synagogue, and nowhere did he instruct anyone to stop adherence to the observances of the Jewish High Holy Days or any other required Jewish observance. He did say “upon this rock I shall build my church.”

Given this, one must ask what is a church, and in traditional Christian ranks, the meaning is recognized as a body of like-believing Christians worshipping together. It is not a building as some would like to believe.

Also, nowhere in Christian New Testament Scriptures does it show Christ worshipping or teaching anywhere but in the synagogue or on a mountain and in the outside community. He did give instruction while eating with His followers inside their homes. If anything, Christians should be attending synagogues to learn of the faith of the man they follow. After all, He was Jewish and He did not renounce His faith!

The Christ spoke in parables and I believe the interpretation of what He said should be interpreted from the stanpoint of a parable and not from the standpoint of an absolute word.

A warning to Christians: To condem Jews is to condemn Christ. To condemn Christ is to condemn the Holy Spirit and to condemn the Holy Spirit is to commit the only unforgivable sin as noted in Christian scriptures.

  43. Grow up. Save the rhetoric for when someone is truly anti-semitic & wants to kill us…she just said what christians believe…as Jews, do we not have similar beliefs regarding other religions?…Are we not the Chosen people imp, lying that other religions are not?…save your fear and loathing for when it is truly needed…not because some commentator said christians are “perfected jews”…get serious

  44. Cherry Hill,

You are absolutely correct. The only reason anyone pays any attention to this dumb shiksa, is because of her provocative dress (or rather, lack thereof).

She has no other way of getting peoples attention. The things she spews are just parroting other pundits ideas. Nothing original.

  45. yweditor you r a disgrace for putting this story up you took it way out of context………………

Editors Response: Perhaps you are not that bright, but this was taken in it’s entirety from Fox News. (The rest of your comment was deleted – but it was just as childish as the first half.)

  46. I don’t understand how anyone could even look at this human trash. Her pritzus is completely outrageous and purposefully done to get her attention.

  47. dear all,

Anne Coulter is great, she is a very special person like but not lose to the rush-ba (or reb rosh). she’s always misquoted trapped and slandered.

    Anyhow,

we as jews believe we are number 1, let her think she’s number 1 what do you care.

just leave the rebbitzin alone, we need her to bash the chalafta sHillery ‘Rotten’ Clin-tun-nisht.

    please,

CAN’T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG.

    She supports eretz yiddin….

  48. Dear Shaggy,

aren’t you a little far from home

    Dear editor,

Why is any yoizel other then the alter allowed to be mentioned here at our forum

  49. #49 wrybouturself
Have fun reading, I only made it through the parts about the leftists which I believe is brilliantly written the other parts are too ridiculous and boring for me.

    #60
Have you ever read any of her articles or books? I can’t believe that anyone would claim that she is not original. There are not many people out there who would risk saying half the things she says they would have their careers and probably their lives threatened constantly.

  50. respek,

I am grown up and I have tried to be supportive of all Judaism and of Israel; however, when I see attitudes such as yours and people such as you, I am tempted to silence my support, silence my stance, and let whatever happens happen. That is the way Hitler went so far in killing 10 million Jews – including many of my grandmother’s family who died in Auschwitz, Berkenau, and other death camps: people were silent until someone was truly anti-semitic and starting killing Jews, and then it was too late, much too late. According to some ideas floating within the Lubavitch movement, G-d withdrew His favor from the Jews as punishment. At that point they (Jews) were no longer considered the chosen people. IF it was I who offended you, I sincerely apologize and ask for your forgiveness.

  51. Taken in entirety? Including the parenthetical “(Anti-Semite)” at the beginning of the headline?

Midvar sheker tirchak. If it’s an exaggeration, it’s motzei shem ra and cannot be good for us for a publication that portends to represent yeshivish values to behave so.

    Context is everything.

“Ann Coulter: Jews Need to Be Perfected” would be accurate, and is, frankly, nothing new.

“(Anti-Semite) Ann Coulter: Jews Need to Be Perfected” is intentionally inflammatory.

Sadly, American frummies, like American Dhimmicrats, seem to be too gutless to take on those Koran-thumping child-sacrificing Molech-worshippers who ACTIVELY want to kill us and are preaching that in mosques in our communities and to millions of criminals in American prisons. It’s SAFE to complain about Christianity because for 400 years, in this hemisphere, they won’t kill us. And when Christians hear Jews complaining about them and NOT complaining more about Muslims and Chomskys and the like, it’s a sure-fire recipe for making someone who wanted to be a friend into a foe.

Get your heads out of Europe.

  52. YW Editor, whatever Fox News says is irrelevant. For a Jewish news site to publicly label a goy(ta) an anti-semite, there had better be a very good reason, and not just “Fox News said so”. This is a tremendous chilul Hashem. I happened to have seen the broadcast today on TV at someone’s house.

She is not an anti-semite, and the few times issues of Israel and Jews have come up, she’s basically said that she’s a protestant shiksa from Connecticut (her words) so what does she know about these things.

I feel you did your readership a tremendous disservice by framing the story as you did, and by omitting certain facts here.

    1. As another poster mentioned, she said to Donny that he is not a practicing Jew, and, as a result, inviting him to church can certainly be seen as a reasonable offer from her view.

    2. She clearly said that in her christian view, our way is to fulfill the commandments, and theirs is that they know they’re sinners, and that’s why their savior died for them.

    3. She said explicitly that they believe in our testament (even though we don’t believe in, lihavdil, theirs). They believe that they have the fast-track with theirs. Hence, “perfected”; nothing to worry about as they believe Yeshu took care of it.

    4. She also stated explicitly that they believe that we go to heaven, and quoted Jerry Falwell, to back herself up.

This does not sound anti-semitic to me. After reading some of her books and seeing her on TV, my impression is that she is a very proud Christian, and she has every right to be proud of the way she chooses to live.

She seems to truly believe that if the entire world would adhere to Christianity, that there would be far fewer problems. She is blunt and says that out loud, but it is not anti-semitic. If the entire planet were civilized law-abiding citizens who were productive and were spiritually secure, would that bother you? That’s what she means.

By the way, to the childish poster above, she is not a “dumb” shiksa; she is extremely intelligent, more so, I daresay, than some on this blog.

In true anti-semitic circles, by the way, she’s probably considered philo-semitic. I, personally, have nothing against her views on Judaism as stated, and there is no reason to spout like a 2 year old about how she’s anti-semitic when she is clearly nothing of the sort.

  53. Trefene Baal Habos:

I am shocked that gedolim would say that they fear the right wing more than the left wing. It is the left wing in this country that threatens Milah, Shechita, our right to raise our children in the derech HaTorah and many other degradations of our way of life. Just because the left has not succeeded in their evil ways does not mean we should not fear them.

The statement of fearing the right sounds exactly like Daas Baal Habayis which is the opposite of Daas Torah.

As far as whether the statement is anti-semitic, it is no more anti-semitic than the views of any religious non-Jew. If they didn’t believe that, they wouldn’t believe in anything. Besides, what do athiests believe about us?

  54. Who cares what Ann Coulter has to say about anything???? Unfortunately “vee es Cristeltzach Yiddeltzach”, we are becoming so mushpa by the media (of all types) that it has slowly seeped into our brains that their opinion is an opinion. Rabboisai, their opinion is nothing!!!!!!!

  55. Shaggy, the way this forum works, just because someone appeared immediately after you doesn’t mean s/he is commenting on you. It’s best to common on a specific post by referring to name or #.

I’m not quite sure where your Lubavitch reference comes in. I hope this doesn’t devolve into a critique on Lubavitch, but I have a feeling that your source is far from the mainstream.

  56. I respectfully object to the lengthy coverage — including verbatim transcripts of her filth — devoted here to a Sonaat Yisrael.

The following comment at the New York Times Web site may be appropriate:
“By publishing these anti-Semitic comments, the Times has become an accomplice to the bigotry. Is the Times trying to emulate its sleazy tabloid competitors?”

  57. Why all the commotion? Don’t we consider ourselves to be more perfect than non Jews? What’s wrong if Christians feel they are more perfect than Jews? People should consider their religion more perfect. I don’t see anthing scandolous or anti-semitic in her remarks.

  58. Dear Town Crier,

please change your id to town shrier it would be more apperpo.

    secondly,

we say every morning ‘shelo asoni goy, shelo asoni isha’

    are we racist or xist?

    no!

this is what anne of grren fables is saying.

in her not so humble opinion, jews can be perfected into somthing else, so what?

racisim, anti-semitisim, is hatered of a people based on thier racial makeup (see foxford dictionary).

saying your religion is better is a theological statement not a race statement.

    genuk shoyn,

    we have enough soynim.

    REMEMBER:

Bill Clinton did nothing to stop crown hights riots. But did plenty to Alien Gonzales and Waco Texas.

Hillery Clinton hugging and kissing Shuafat Arafat after a ‘jews poison the water’ speach.

Martin Sheen blasting the bible as a ‘crazy’ book.

Melly Gibson ranting and raving about ‘the jews’

aqua-dini-zihad saying the hollacost never happened.

Farakan, jesse jacson, alla sharp-wiegh-a-ton and more.

these are the enemies, not poor anne.

    long live the rebbetzin!!!!!!!!!!!1

  59. interestingly enough the kuzari clearly differentiates judaism from other religions in that judaism is not a religion that recruits. We want to make sure the members stay affiliated, but new members? no. that should rest our case and put morons or approval seekers on ignore.

  60. That’s what makes them Gedolim. My Daas Baal Habayis was always to support the right wing. The Gedolim just said to be fearful of them not to Chas Vshalom to support the left wing. Just while you are supporting the right wing, always keep in mind your fear. I once heard a mashol from somebody. Hug somebody but look out for the knife. (paraphrasing).

  61. attn: 65 a.k.a. you-dont-know-me
i totally understand it and why you’d agree to it. however i still have questions on it.
    njoy, gut shabbos!

  62. shaggy: My apologies on the rudeness of my fellow brother, respek. The subject of anti-semitism is very sensitive and touches a lot of raw nerves. Your support is appreciated. Thank you.

  63. any who,

i just saw a clip of the episode.

    totaly kosher.

    no problem.

the rebbetzin even said that being an obsevant jew was cool.

she was saying that being non relig. was a problem.

when he tried twisting her words she didn’t capitulate, but kept to her religious beliefs,

    good for you anne!!11

  64. Just imagine if Hillary or Obama had said that. Rush, Hannity and all the other conservative talk show hosts would have demanded of them to drop out of the race and yet she gets a pass. Shameful and hypocritical

  65. Why all the commotion? There is nothnig wrong with a person believing his or her religioin is superior. Do we not believe our religion to be superior? Frivolous cries of anti-semitism promote apathy when true anti semitism manifests.

  66. Who really cares what an attention seeking low-life harlot shiksa says? Anything and everything she ever said and did was to seek attnetion to her pruste self.

  67. 82, your tznius in minimizing the use of Ms. Coulter’s name is commendable but please don’t cheapen the use of the title rebbetzin.

Personally, I suppose I’m glad she’s basically on our side, but when I saw an approbation to one of her books comparing her to H L Mencken, that was the first and last of her books I picked up.

  68. Trefene Baal Habos:

Bottom line, I don’t believe you are correctly representing the views of the Gedolim. I personally don’t support a group per se, but look at the impact of the official’s actions. For the most part, that means our interests are aligned with people on the right.

By way of recent examples, Bloomberg’s assault on Metzitza B’peh (Bloomberg is a liberal), and Spitzer’s actions on the Catskills casino (a terrible Michshol) and changes to the definition of marraige (which affects us spiritually). Hamachteo Yoseir Mehahorgo. The left is definitely a Machteo, I don’t think the right is remotely close to Hahorgo.
