A spokesman for Williamsburg Shomrim has just informed Yeshivaworld that a Hatzolah vehicle was stolen from Marcy Avenue near Hayward Street with the NY License Plate: VAS9500. It is a black, Chrysler Town & County. If seen, please contact Shomrim at 718-237-0202, or Hatzolah at 718-387-1750 immediately.

Call Hatzalah or Shomrim. Don’t call the police.
That’s 100% correct.
Call Shomrim or Hatzolah – and NOT the NYPD.
They will respond four hours later to a “report of seeing a stolen car” – a real non-emergency in NYC.
Shomrim and Hatzolah will have a hundred units there in a minute.
Yeshivaworld is correct, do not call NYPD.
Is it prudent to “tie up” Hatzolah’s emergency # for this? according to anywho.com the # of hatzaloh’s offices are 718-998-9000.
Dear MAR,
Yes, it is prudent to contact Hatzolah by any means possible if this vehicle is sighted, as post 9/11, the threat of a ambulance/hatzolah vehicle being stolen and used in a malicious manner was very real. All members were warned at that time, of the risk and told to report a stolen vehicle EVEN ON SHABBOS. Lets hope this vehicle willbe recovered soon, in good shape.
This is enough to be called an emergency.
What a petty he’s such a good member and a special guy, he had a lot of worthfull stuff in there
Lets hope it is found soon. Why is it such an emergency that even on Shabbos if you see it you should report it??
Anyone with updates?? Does anyone have an answer to my question on my previous post copied again below:

The car was not found yet Anyone with any info is urged to contact Hatzolah immediatly The cops are really taking this one serious
Any updates?? They should make a deal with the robber that if he returns the car he will get a lighter sentence or something like that.
