Last night a large fire swept through the Krula Bungalow Colony on Route 42 in South Fallsburg. The blaze completely destroyed two bungalows – before the fire department was able to bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported.

It was their first year there, since they bought it off Elm Shade Bungalows. It could of been a disaster-this colony is surrounded by 4 other bungalow colonies, Riversite bungalows, sun circle bungalows, elm shade ESTATES, etc.
The gas & electric should of been off for the winter. Those are not winterized bungalows.
It was a big ness that the fire didn’t spread to other units.
The gas and electric were turned off right after the season.
