A Frum, Flatbush family got a shock on Simchas Torah morning when they looked out their kitchen window and saw a 5-foot-long rat snake sneaking along the driveway. According to the NY Post, the homeowner spotted the snake as it crept along their Avenue M driveway. The NYPD was contacted, and ESU units quickly nabbed the rat-hungry reptile as a small crowd watched.

These snakes are found according to the NYPD in areas of construction and home renovations. They are part of the underground water/sewage systems that are opened when doing construction.
